00:00Now, the Toronto Blue Jays, they try to sign everybody and they only end up with few.

00:04It just seems to be the way that it went.

00:05They did end up landing a big fish, so to speak.

00:08Finally, they got somebody to sign their George Anthony Santander goes from Baltimore to Toronto.

00:14The Orioles are like, ah, we'll just plug somebody else in and he'll hit 30 home runs.

00:18But it feels like George that Santander was definitely like not the best fit for the Blue

00:24Jays.

00:25Like, really?

00:26Like in the end, I don't know that it would have made that much of a difference, but they

00:27had to sign somebody.

00:29They just kept striking out on all these players.

00:32Guerrero did not get signed, so he's playing for a contract.

00:34Usually that goes well, but of this lineup and Guerrero will be the monster in it.

00:40The key name here, without a doubt, hold your nose.

00:44If you look at Bo Bichette's numbers from last year, I don't know what happened to this

00:48guy last season.

00:50You talk about arguably the most dynamic up and coming shortstop in all of major league

00:55baseball to fall, not off the cliff, but off something that I can't even say here

01:01on the air.

01:02What, George, happened to this guy last year, man?

01:04Like I gotta believe maybe he's not what he was two years ago, but there's gotta be a

01:09big bounce back from him this season.

01:12I'd agree.

01:13He's someone I sort of have highlighted on my cheat sheets there that don't forget about

01:17him.

01:18I don't want, I'm not grabbing him early.

01:19I'm hoping he drops late.

01:20Now shortstop is somewhat deep, by the way, in fantasy drafts.

01:23You can get him pretty late in drafts.

01:25So if you want to take a shot there, but yeah, they have some decisions to make here.

01:30I mean, I kind of like that.

01:31I like the Blue Jays every year.

01:33I mean, I love the pitching staff, Gossman, Schurz, Bassett, Berrios, Francis, I think

01:37it's a good staff.

01:38You know, the bullpen, okay, it needs a little work there, but I think they can keep them

01:42in games here.

01:43But Greg, if they're not in contention, which is really hard not to be by the trade deadline

01:48nowadays, but Guerrero would have to be traded, right?

01:52He wanted 450.

01:53He went down to 420.

01:54They wouldn't even talk to him about it.

01:56He's going to get that in the open market.

01:57So they're going to have to trade him.

01:58Maybe they got to trade Bassett too, depending on what kind of year he's having here.

02:01This is a weird year for the Blue Jays.

02:03They don't play well.

02:04These guys have to be moved at the deadline, but we're going to get nothing for them here.

02:38Starting pitching is concerned to top two guys, Solid, Gossman, of course, Jose Barrios,

02:45of course.

02:46Then it's Chris Bassett.

02:48Max Scherzer refuses to retire.

02:49So he's back again, this time with the Blue Jays.

02:53And then Bowden Francis is one of their nice young pitchers.

02:56They think that could help them a lot this season.

02:58But I mean, I don't know.

03:01I mean, I guess a late round pick on Scherzer would do.

03:03I mean, he's a Hall of Famer, another guy that is.

03:05But Gossman and Barrios for me.

03:08And I'll stop there.

03:09I mean, Bowden Francis, get him late, he almost threw a couple of no-hitters last year.

03:15But once again, it's another band box you're pitching in there.

03:17That's what makes it so tough, I don't think anybody in Toronto.
