00:00Quezon City has declared a dengue outbreak due to rising cases of the deadly disease.

00:06The Barangay Old Balara leadership is considering releasing frogs into creeks and vacant lots

00:12to control mosquitoes, although the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, or DENR,

00:19has not approved this method due to insufficient studies.

00:22With 45 dengue cases reported in the area, the barangay will follow the Department of

00:27Health, or DOH's, guidelines and focus on cleaning and information dissemination to

00:33combat the outbreak instead.
