00:40He's two years old. He's everything.
00:42That's our baby boy.
00:44He was in for a surprise with these four sisters arriving.
00:48The quadruplets are eight weeks, eight weeks old.
00:51We had Lyric. Lyric was number one.
00:54And then Paisley.
00:56She was number two.

01:03Fallon was last, number four.
01:07This is the biggest thing that's ever happened to me.

01:15Still kind of hectic because PJ is two.
01:17Can you tell me how you met?
01:19So we met in college.
01:21That was my junior year, 2016.
01:24Do you want a big family?
01:26I mean, I always would play I wanted a big family
01:29because I come from a big family.
01:31I'm one of nine kids.
01:32And I'm like, babe, three tops.
01:34Three is it. Three is my limit.
01:36And then when I was pregnant with them,
01:38before I knew it was quadruplets,
01:40the way I was feeling, I said, Peyton, I said, this is it.
01:42I said, I can't do this anymore.
01:44I said, it's going to be it.
01:45And sure enough.
01:50So you go in for an ultrasound.
01:52Tell me about that moment.
01:53I go in for the ultrasound.
01:55I knew something was up by the look on her face.
01:58Yeah, she was like very awkward.
02:01Then on the Doppler, it showed like two heartbeats here.
02:04I'm like, oh, two in.
02:05So I'm already processing.
02:06I'm like, dang, two in.
02:08She was like, wait.
02:09She moved it over four circles.
02:11I was like, whoa.
02:12It felt like somebody punched me in the stomach
02:15and then like stomped me out.
02:18I was like, oh.

02:25The ultrasound tech was like, what were you guys taking?
02:28Are you getting in vitro, IVF?
02:30Or what were you taking?
02:32I'm like, I take vitamin C.
02:34It was just like I was torn.
02:35Because I'm like, what?
02:36Quadruplets.
02:37Then I'm like, wow, this is so amazing.
02:40So yeah, torn.
02:42That's how I felt, torn.
02:44This is some cute little onesies we have for the girls.
02:47We got so much stuff, guys.
02:48We're so grateful everybody was willing to buy four of everything.
02:52Tell us about the two identical twins.
02:54So these two are twins, Fallon and Lyric.
02:57It's like the two Ps are twins.
02:59And then the two Lyric and Fallon are twins.

03:06By the time you finish feeding one, not somebody else is hungry.
03:09Because there's only two of us, and there's four of them.

03:12Because PJ is still a baby.
03:15And how is Pete Jr. fighting being a big brother?
03:19He's still trying to fight for his own attention.
03:22But for the most part, he understands that it's not just him anymore.
03:26Trying to use his inside voice.
03:28That's his biggest dilemma, being gentle.
03:31Being gentle, because he's a two-year-old boy.
03:39How did your friends and family respond when you told them?
03:43Everybody thought we were playing.

03:52It's overwhelming for me to just walk in.
03:54When I walk in, I'm like, where do you start?
04:04How did you feel when you got the news that your daughter was pregnant with pods?
04:10My initial reaction was, oh, my God.
04:16And then I went into action.
04:17I'm like, what do we do?
04:19How do we plan for babies?
04:22So my mom made us a GoFundMe a few weeks after we found out,
04:26because we were just overwhelmed with the thought of having to provide for quadruplets plus our toddler.
04:32It just seemed like we need help.
04:35They say it takes a village. It really does.
04:38It's taking a community.
04:40But we need bigger than the village.
04:42A small island nation.
04:45I try desperately on the weekends to come in and prepare at least two or three meals to carry them through.
04:52But because I'm such a good cook, they like to eat it all up in one or two days.

04:59What reactions did you experience online to sharing that you were having quadruplets?
05:05The comments on the picture when we announced it, so many people were like, what are quadruplets?
05:11You guys are having four? I don't know.
05:13Somebody said, y'all having four kids at once?
05:16People say a lot, couldn't be me.
05:18I couldn't do it.
05:19And I'm like, that's why you didn't get it.
05:21You know, I didn't think I could do it, but I'm doing it.
05:24I'm trying my best.
05:26Sometimes I'll just stroll through the comments and I just see that's the two things that always pop up.
05:32I don't like their names. Their names are weird.
05:34Or they have to be taking something.
05:37So they have money and blah, blah, blah.
05:40I'm like, I take vitamin C.
05:43This is nothing that we did.
05:45I would tell people all the time, even friends or close family, they're like, what were you guys doing?
05:52How did y'all do this?
05:53I'm like, y'all, I would not purposely have four kids.
05:58The process of getting dressed and having to get in the car.
06:02Have you seen any of the online stuff?
06:05I did. I did. I saw the online and I laughed.
06:08A lady that commented about if you have enough money for IVF, why are you doing a GoFundMe?
06:16And it's like, OK, we didn't.
06:18It's natural. One in 700,000 people conceive naturally.
06:25I figured that this is a blessing, you know, one in 700,000 to have a natural, you know, spontaneous quadruplets.
06:36So I feel like we should share this with the world.
06:39It's like winning the lottery.
06:41We just let it roll off our shoulders.
06:43We don't even buy into it.
06:45It's not worth it.

06:48How do you feel about these two sharing their life on social media?
06:54So, and you open yourself up to negative, you know, folks.
07:00And but they both have a strong, strong spirituality.
07:06I'm not against it. It's a wonderful story.
07:08You know, it's amazing and I'm happy for them.
07:11Look at my baby girl grow into such an amazing mother.
07:15So I am so, so very proud of her.
07:21If I had to describe this family in one word, I would describe them as amazing.
