00:11controversial statements she made against President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., First

00:16Lady Lisa Araneta Marcos, and House Speaker Martin Romualdez, Senate President Francis

00:22Chis Escudero stated that this development does not affect the impeachment trial proceedings.

00:29He emphasized that the trial can proceed simultaneously as it has no bearing on the impeachment process.

00:36The Senate President stressed that the impeachment trial is not like Senate investigations to

00:41issue subpoenas for evidence or witnesses.

00:44Meanwhile, Senate Majority Leader Francis Tolentino acknowledged that the impeachment
