00:26Senate President Francis Iscudero maintained his stand regarding the impeachment trial of Vice
00:34President Sara Duterte. The Senate President said no amount of signatures will amend the law,
00:39nor convince him to violate it by convening the impeachment court during recess and without
00:45complying with the requisite conditions precedent. Iscudero says further the law is not bendable
00:52and should not bow to anyone's dictate simply because of their own desire to rush the
00:57impeachment proceedings versus Vice President Sara Duterte. For his part, Senator Sherwin
01:03Gatchalian said he is in favor of having an all-member caucus regarding the impeachment.
01:09However, he also agrees with Iscudero's stand.
