00:00The National Bureau of Investigation, or NBI, on Wednesday has recommended the filing of
00:04criminal charges against Vice President Sara Duterte before the Department of Justice,
00:09or DOJ.
00:10The NBI said they found sufficient evidence to charge the vice president with grave threats
00:16and inciting to sedition, which stems from controversial statements she made against
00:20President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., First Lady Lisa Araneta Marcos, and House Speaker Martin
00:25Romualdez.
00:26Meanwhile, the DOJ said that it has submitted the case to the Office of the National Prosecution
00:31Service, where it will undergo an intensive evaluation to determine if there is enough
00:36evidence to proceed with the filing charges against Vice President Sara Duterte.
