00:00My name is Amelie with the Lancashire Post and I tried the TikTok famous Japanese souffle cheesecake

00:06You can get the cheesecakes at Moon Moon Cafe and Bakery across the street from Fishergate Shopping Center

00:13It's an adorable little cafe with completely pink exterior

00:20It's completely pink on the inside and outside they do all sorts of cakes

00:25Bubble tea, dim sum, they do the Korean bubble waffles

00:30So there's lots of options to choose from

00:32It's tiny on the inside. There's really only space for a few people and then the counter

00:37They have a really cute floral wall with a neon sign, which I think would be really cute for taking photos in front of

00:45The only seating is outside which I think in the winter might not be ideal

00:49But in the summer it would be the perfect place to stop in the middle of a day of shopping get a nice refreshing bubble

00:54Tea and just sit in the Sun for a bit

00:57Decided to go for the cheesecake and a bubble tea

01:02I've only had bubble tea once before a long time ago. So I wasn't sure what to order

01:06So I asked the man at the counter what was the most popular and he suggested the mango fruit tea with passion fruit boba

01:19I thought the bubble tea was so so good. It's really sweet, but it also has that kind of tea flavor underneath

01:26So it's not completely overpowering. I did like the boba too. I thought the passion fruit flavor was really good

01:32But I did find them hard to eat the straw sort of disintegrated

01:38while I was drinking it and so

01:41They wouldn't really go up through the straw

01:43So I only ate a few of them and I wasn't a huge fan of having this skin kind of leftover

01:48But the flavor of the passion fruit was really good and went really well with the mango

01:53For the cheesecake, it's known on tik-tok for being sort of wobbly

01:57Which is kind of why it went viral

01:59But when you buy it after it's been sitting out for a bit doesn't quite do the same thing

02:05But that's more of an aesthetic thing

02:25Um, so it's not very heavy to eat. Um, it's really easy to eat the whole thing

02:32It was a little bit underwhelmed by the flavor. I didn't think it really tasted like anything other than

02:40Especially having the bubble tea which was very sweet right next to it

02:43I think that that kind of minimized the flavor for me

02:46If you're looking for something that's light not too filling and not too sweet, then you might really like this

02:51Overall, I thought the cafe was adorable and there's lots of options. So it's definitely worth a visit
