Police have confirmed that driver negligence, not sabotage, caused a car to crash through the multi-storey parking area of Sultan Idris Shah Hospital on Tuesday (Feb 4).

00:00Police have confirmed that driver negligence, not sabotage, caused the car to crash through
00:07the multi-storey parking area of Sultan Idris Shah Hospital on Tuesday.
00:12Sepang Police Chief ACP Norhizam Bahaman said the 39-year-old SUV driver lost control at
00:191.15pm, crashing into a barrier wall on Level 3B of the parking facility.
00:26The driver, who was uninjured, admitted that the accident occurred due to his own mistake,
00:31that he accidentally pressed the accelerator, lost control, and collided with the barrier.
00:37The impact damaged the barrier wall, causing debris to fall onto a Toyota Avanza parked
00:42below.
00:43The case is being investigated under Section 43, Subsection 1 of the Road Transport Act,
00:481987.
