A video of a car shown to have blocked an ambulance rushing to the Banting Hospital is being investigated by the police.

Kuala Langat OCPD Supt Mohd Akmalrizal Radzi, in a statement Friday (Dec 20), said the incident occurred around 9.45pm on Wednesday (Dec 18).

00:18The ambulance was carrying a patient from the Janjiram Health Clinic to the hospital.

00:27and numerous requests from the ambulance via loudspeaker.
00:38An investigation led to the arrest of the car owner on Thursday.
00:43However, he was not the driver of the vehicle and was found to be the father of the driver.
00:49The suspect, in his 20s, had been rushing to KLIA to board a plane and is currently
00:55still overseas.
00:57Further investigations are ongoing by the police under Section 42, Subsection 1 of the
01:03Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless driving.
