00:00It was truly a regal experience last week Wednesday when the Majestic
00:04Princess graced our shores for the first time. During the welcome ceremony,
00:08officials from the Tourism Trinidad Limited and the captain and crew of the
00:12Majestic Princess exchanged gifts. Following the function, Captain Giuseppe
00:16told the media that this was not his first time in Trinidad. He said the first
00:21time he visited, he fell in love with the island and its beauty and wanted to
00:25share that same love he experienced with all 3,627 passengers and 1,227 crew
00:33members. You guys, because you're kind, kindness and warm here as we arrived
00:42already this morning was very nice. Chairman of Tourism Trinidad Limited
00:46Kiba Jacob-Mutley said she was pleased that the cruise ship had included
00:50Trinidad in its itinerary. Because this is exactly what we want. We want cruise
00:55ship arrivals, you know, we want visitors. Our call to action is visit Trinidad. So
01:00this is what it's all about, people visiting Trinidad. So it's amazing and also
01:05it's the first of two trips for this season. So they'll be back here in a few
01:09weeks as well. So that is, that's just really great for us and for our tourism
01:14industry. She added that visitor safety is Tourism Trinidad's number one
01:18priority. Well we work closely in partnership with the Ministry of
01:21National Security and the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service to provide a safe
01:25and secure environment for all of our visitors. We have two categories of
01:29visitors. So some visitors do guided tours on buses and maxis and then we
01:34have some visitors who walk through the city of Port of Spain and we have tour
01:39ambassadors who will guide them through that journey. Following the ceremony,
01:43members of the media were taken on tour of the ship, viewing its facilities and
01:47sampling the many offerings. Following his departure from Trinidad, the
01:51majestic princess was heading to Aruba and to Curacao before returning to
