00:07the first couple of minutes of Sunday. A trade and a notification that when it happened,

00:14everybody said, huh? What? Is this fake? Was Shams hacked? That's how big this deal was.

00:24And that's how out of nowhere, this trade materialized. Luka Doncic traded to the LA

00:31Lakers by the Dallas Mavericks. Yeah. Luka Doncic traded to Los Angeles. In return,

00:38the Mavericks get back a package highlighted by Anthony Davis, Max Christie, and just a single

00:46first round selection. Joe, I'll start with the reaction because that really was a part of this.

00:53Everybody waking up on Sunday, had they been asleep early on a Saturday night, some out at

00:58bars and clubs where they trade so monumental that the DJ broke into the sound system to say,

01:05Luka Doncic is now a Laker. Where were you late on Saturday night or very early on Sunday morning

01:14when you saw this trade and what was your initial reaction? I thought I was being pumped. I really

01:21did. I thought it was one of those fake, you know, Schefter account kind of things. And I'm like,

01:26oh, man, maybe it's maybe it's missing a letter. And I'm completely, you know, this is this isn't

01:32really it can't happen. Right. Twenty five years old to do not even in his prime. There is no way

01:38Dallas would, you know, trade him for somebody five years older and not in his prime anymore.

01:46So none of it seemed to make any sense. But as stunned as we were, apparently,

01:53Luka was even more stunned. He had absolutely no clue that this was coming, which raises

02:00a whole lot of questions, Ben, like just how big of a you know, what is he that Dallas was willing

02:08to trade him away to the West Coast and the Lakers of all teams just to get him out of their hair?
