00:00In Bolivia, the Supreme Electoral Tribunal, TSE, confirmed that the general elections
00:05will be held on August the 17th, a date that cannot be changed, as announced by its president
00:10Óscar Jacinto Fer.
00:13The organization detailed that in case of a second round, it will be held in October,
00:18while on December 17, a national meeting for democracy will be held with government authorities
00:24and political representatives to shield the electoral process and guarantee its development
00:29within the established deadlines.
00:31In addition, they have detailed that TSE is working on a new electoral cartography based
00:38on laws 1016 and 14, which redistributes seats among departments according to the 2024 consensus.
00:49The elections will elect the president, vice president, 130 deputies, 36 senators, and
00:54nine supreme state representatives.
