00:06Minister Hannah Yeoh, has acknowledged that he possesses no formal qualifications in comparative
00:11religious studies or law.
00:14Testifying in his defence, Kamarul Zaman Yusuf told the High Court he holds a diploma in
00:19Administrative and Legal Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology.
00:25He also said he holds a Master's degree and a PhD in Malaysian Political History.
00:32Kamarul conceded that none of the published works and research papers listed on his CV
00:37relates to the study of comparative religion, Malaysian law or legal issues in the country.
00:43He agreed that many of his articles were about pasts, saying his main interest was in its
00:47development as a political party.
00:50However, under cross-examination, Kamarul insisted he was qualified to express opinions
00:56on Christianity and the law.
00:58Yeoh is suing Kamarul over the contents of two documents he authored, which she claimed
01:03had accused her of proselytising Christianity through her politics, driving a Christian
01:08agenda and intending to convert Malaysia into a Christian country.
