‘We’re going the right way’: Londoners on Labour’s first 6 months

We ask the people of London how they feel about Labour after six months in power.

00:00Well, it's hard to say, but I think that they're going after the right things and their hearts

00:05are in the right place. And after 14 years of publicly snouting at the trough of public

00:12finance, it's going to take some time to turn that around. There were just billions of pounds

00:20spent in dodgy contracts and honours for donations, that kind of stuff. It's, you know, it needed

00:28to stop.

00:29I mean, from someone that's not very politically, you know, inept with everything, or I'm just

00:34not very good up with everything at the moment, I think that they've got a lot to do in terms

00:39of a lot of clear up from the Conservative Party. So I don't think anything was going

00:43to happen overnight. But I feel like they are striving towards better things for people

00:50such as healthcare workers, first time buyers as well. I just, I do think we're going towards

00:59the right way.
