00:03So, Labour's been dominant in London since 2022, holding 21 of 32 councils.
00:08But Keir Starmer's party might end up losing its clutch over the capital.
00:12Not to its historic rivals the Conservatives, but to the new kids on the block,
00:16Reform UK and the Green Party,
00:18who are the main contenders looking to snatch some seats this election year.
00:21The Greens will be eyeing up Hackney as its number one target,
00:24but could also make some moves in Walden Forest, Lambeth and Lewisham.
00:27Nigel Farage's Reform UK will be looking at Bexley, Havering, Bromley,
00:32Barking and Dagenham and potentially Croydon.
00:34Elsewhere, the Tories should keep their hold on Kensington and Chelsea,
00:38Hillingdon and Harrow,
00:39but they might miss out on Barnet for a second election in a row.
00:42Labour will be looking to hold on to its crown jewel boroughs,
00:44Westminster and Wandsworth,
00:45but this election could really see a political earthquake.
