00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. ordered the Department of Health and PhilHealth to provide

00:05quick and complete healthcare services to every Filipino.

00:09The details are in the national news of Kenneth Paciente of PTV Manila.

00:16President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. wanted to ensure that every Filipino has access to medical services.

00:22That's why in the meeting with the Health Department this morning,

00:25the directive of the Executive Board of the DOH became clear.

00:29The services of PhilHealth should not be stopped despite the zero subsidy for the state-owned health insurer.

00:36Last year, the President repeated the concerns of the PhilHealth members

00:41and assured that the services will not be affected.

00:44Even if there is a subsidy, even if there is no subsidy, even if there is a contribution,

00:49all of these issues, the services of PhilHealth will not be reduced.

00:55PhilHealth's payment to insurance claims will not be reduced.

01:00In fact, we will increase the services that PhilHealth will provide.

01:07We will increase the payment to insurance claims.

01:12So, I would like to just assure everybody, don't worry that the services will be reduced, no matter who.

01:20The President also urged the DOH to focus their attention on strengthening the services

01:25so that diseases can be avoided compared to medicines.

01:28President Marcos, Jr. also emphasized the importance of digitalizing the DOH

01:33so that it can better provide services to Filipinos.

01:37Now is the time for farmers to plant.

01:40President Marcos, Jr. ordered the Department of Agriculture

01:43to ensure that all kinds of assistance can be provided to farmers

01:47to avoid any kind of disaster this planting season.

01:51In his meeting yesterday with the Agriculture Department and Economic Managers,

01:55the President ordered that the government's support for farmers should not be neglected.

02:00The Executive Board of the Budget Department also issued a directive

02:04to do the necessary steps to help farmers,

02:07particularly to provide budgetary support to the agriculture sector.

02:13The DOH is confident that through timely and sufficient assistance,

02:17especially to the farmers, the quality of their crops and the latest technology,

02:22farmers will be able to use higher yields and productivity.
