00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. wants to ensure every Filipino has access to medical services.

00:06In a meeting, the chief executive directed the Department of Health to ensure PhilHealth

00:10services will not be interrupted despite a zero subsidy for the state-owned health insurer.

00:16Last year, the president reassured PhilHealth members,

00:19promising that its services would not be affected.

00:22Even if there is a subsidy, even if there is no subsidy, even if there is a contribution,

00:27all of these issues, PhilHealth's services will not be reduced.

00:34PhilHealth's payment to insurance claims will not be reduced.

00:39In fact, we will increase the services that PhilHealth will provide.

00:46We will increase the payment to insurance claims.

00:51So, I would like to just assure everybody,

00:54don't forget that services will be reduced, no matter who.
