Wet weather causes delays in London

The snow and wet weather over the weekend has caused delays in the capital.

00:12The Met Office issued a rain warning for the capital, ending at 9am today on Monday January

00:19However, while the warning officially ends at 9am, the heavy rain may cause some lasting

00:24disruption, including longer journey times on buses and trains.

00:29Prey and flooding on roads, probably making journey times longer, and possible flooding

00:34of a few homes and businesses.

00:36The outlook for today is pretty bleak, with forecasters predicting cloud, rain, showers

00:41and mild temperatures.

00:43The BBC weather forecast for London says today will start off cloudy, mild and wet, but will

00:49turn drier in the afternoon, with a few bright breaks developing and the odd shower moving

00:55in.
