00:00One of the more bizarre lines of the week for me, Joe, is this one.
00:03It's the Buffalo Bills taking on the New England Patriots,
00:07where certainly these two teams are playing like polar opposites.
00:10The Bills have played fantastic.
00:12I would say not the best on defense, but still good enough to win games.
00:16The Patriots have been absolutely brutal on offense.
00:19They have a lot of injuries on defense, but this line is six and a half.
00:23And so it gives me a lot of pause to think maybe that we're missing something here
00:29because normally in a situation like this, I look and say,
00:31yeah, Buffalo should be eight, nine, maybe nine and a half, not a 10,
00:34but only six and a half points this week.
00:37So I wonder what your thoughts are here on this,
00:40because usually when I see something like this, it makes me say to myself,
00:44I got to hold my nose here and take the team I don't want to take.
00:47Well, we did a lot of nose holding last week.
00:49We talked about those scenarios, and I understand why you're thinking that.
00:53It's an in-division game. It makes a ton of sense.
00:55But I think when you look at the context of what's going on here,
00:57the thing missing from this game is Christian Gonzalez and a deep threat.
01:01Drake May was the best deep ball passer in the league last year.
01:04Keyshawn Booty was around last year. He is not.
01:06They brought an A.J. Brown to fill that role. He is not there either.
01:10You got a run game that looks like a mess.
01:11You got an offensive line that's not good.
01:13And although the Bills defense did give up a lot of points
01:15the first couple of weeks of the season last week, a much better showing.
01:18Granted, it was against the Chargers, but I like the six and a half here.
01:21I'm comfortable. I've already bet this.
01:22And I'm in on this because I just think we're talking about a different class of team.
01:26The Buffalo Bills at home with an individual opponent coming.
01:29I don't think Drake May is going to play as poorly as he did last week.
01:32I don't know if that's possible. That's how bad it was against Jacksonville.
01:36But I will say the Buffalo Bills should handle their business here easily.
01:40I also think Josh Allen scored touchdowns game.
01:42Minus 125 is one of the easier bets you can make today.
