00:00A blogger in Cebu was killed after a bomb exploded in his chest and face.

00:05Jesse Atienza of PTV Cebu has the details.

00:11A video was taken of a man who was shot by a bomb,

00:16which is called a bomb shell.

00:18When it suddenly exploded, it exploded in his face and chest.

00:22Because of the explosion, the man was not able to stand up.

00:26The victim, John Cyril Remis, tried to bring him to the hospital.

00:30He is a vlogger.

00:31But he was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.

00:38Meanwhile, at 12 o'clock in the morning in Cebu City,

00:41the residents were fighting for their lives.

00:47There was even a dance in their community.

00:49According to Imelda,

00:51they were able to enjoy their happiness,

00:53especially since they only celebrate New Year's Eve once in a while.

01:09According to the Cebu City Fire Station,

01:11no one was injured or burned in the fire

01:13and there were no casualties due to the explosions.

01:17According to the Cebu City Fire Station,

01:19their efforts to disseminate information were of great help.

01:22We claim it as a huge success.

01:27Again, this is a testament

01:31that fire safety is really everybody's concern.

01:37The family members and those who cooked food

01:40in the sea celebrated their first New Year's Eve

01:44with their relatives from Barangay Labangon.

01:47Even though the preparations were simple,

01:49they were happy to celebrate.

01:51Yes, we are happy.

01:53All of us are here because we want our New Year to be happy.
