00:00We're both, we're, us three here are for the 6888, the film,

00:06which tells this incredible story of the first

00:08and only all black, all female battalion

00:12to serve overseas during World War II.

00:14How did it feel to just bring these heroes,

00:17voices and experiences to the forefront?

00:20I knew you were gonna laugh.

00:23Oh my goodness, I keep saying this,

00:25but it's the truth.

00:26It was a dream to be able to embody

00:28such powerful young women who have so much

00:32to teach us how bravely to play Lena,

00:34to step into her world and to have met her

00:36and to have gotten a bit of her blessing to do so

00:39was such a gem and something I'll cherish.

00:41To work with Tyler again,

00:43to work with Carrie for the first time,

00:44to work with the entire battalion of young women

00:46who were all from different places

00:48and we all brought the same diversity

00:50that these women actually had when they were in town.

00:53There's no experience that I've had that is like this one.
