00:00PKR MP Hassan Karim has urged his party colleagues to shun the PAS-led rally planned in support

00:07of former Prime Minister Najib Razak on January 6.

00:12Hassan said PKR had always been firm in opposing corruption or abuse of power, regardless of

00:18the individual involved, and that the rally was unnecessary.

00:22He questioned the need for a massive rally to pressure the judges and court, saying to

00:27just wait for the Court of Appeals' decision on January 6.

00:31The PKR man also insisted that Najib had been granted a fair trial in his conviction for

00:36the SRC International case, saying he was guilty and punished.

00:41Hasbi Muda, the youth chief of Pakatan Harapan component Amanah, yesterday said party members

00:47were free to join the rally, adding that there was no directive from Amanah or PH for members

00:52to skip the event.

00:54PAS's rally at the Palace of Justice in Putrajaya will be held on the same day that the Court

00:59of Appeals hears Najib's application on a purported supplementary decree placing him

01:04under house arrest.

01:06Some Bursatu leaders are expected to attend the January 6 rally, which has been welcomed

01:11by Amnesty Supreme Council member Pua Zarkashi.
