00:18Faiz's comments came after Bersatu's Haizan Jafar lost the Makota by-election to Barisan

00:28Similarly, BN reclaimed the Negeri State seat in Kelantan last month by defeating Bersatu's

00:33Rizwadi Ismail.

00:35In his statement, Faiz claimed that Bersatu has become more marginalized since aligning

00:40with PAS.

00:42He said it has strayed from its original goal of promoting a more moderate Malay society

00:46and has instead adopted extreme rhetoric.

00:49He also said the current Bersatu leadership seems more focused on preserving their positions

00:54rather than engaging with the youth and grassroots members.
