Tumori: Perrone (Aiom), ‘incidenza non aumentata rispetto a ultimo biennio’

(Adnkronos) - “Nonostante la nostra reticenza a dare notizie positive, oggi ce ne sono. L’incidenza del cancro stimata non è aumentata rispetto all’ultimo biennio. L’allarme diffuso nei media internazionali che ci sia un fenomeno cancro nei giovani fuori controllo, non si conferma in Italia, anzi abbiamo riduzione di chi si ammala sotto i 50 anni. Ci sono ancora abitudini che si possono cambiare e che sono troppo diffuse”. Così Francesco Perrone, presidente Aiom, Associazione italiana oncologia medica, alla presentazione de ‘I numeri del cancro in Italia 2024’.

00:56Smoking is a reason why IOM remains very focused on supporting the campaign against smoking,

01:03because lung cancer is still a huge problem,

01:07and drastically reducing smokers must be our goal.

01:11For this reason, we support the campaign for the drastic increase in the cost of smoking products.
