Northern Line station to reopen after 18 months

Kentish Town Tube station is due to reopen on 23 December - before closing early the next day for Christmas.

00:26Thameslink trains have been calling at the railway station throughout the past 18 months,

00:31passengers have not been able to change to the London Underground there, and still won't

00:36be able to until the 30th of December due to rail engineering works. The prolonged closure

00:42of the Northern line station in North West London has been criticised by businesses.

00:48Although Kentish Town is due to reopen on the 23rd of December, it will close early

00:52on Christmas Eve and reopen on Boxing Day with a Sunday service.
