00:00Oh yeah, there's some football teams, Dovesi, that are vying for playoff positioning, maybe

00:08winning a playoff seed that's number one, two, three, or four by getting your division.

00:13And there's other football teams already closing the book on 2024 and looking forward to the

00:19NFL draft.

00:20And you got some pretty good players out here.

00:22So the question always comes up for the health of an organization, coaching staffs and players

00:27don't necessarily want to lose.

00:29It's not in their best interest, but general managers, CEOs, and owners of team understand

00:36winning a game or two here down the stretch could jeopardize us for getting our next prospect

00:41to play quarterback or key positions in order for us to win football games and have players

00:45with marketability, which will put more money in the owner's pockets.

00:49So Doves, I got a buy yourself question for you coming up on the NFL draft.

00:54If we list the top five guys listed right now to be the number one pick, Shadur Sanders,

00:59Travis Hunter, Cam Ward, Jalen Milrow, and Abdul Carter, your question to answer is

01:05should teams be tanking for Shadur Sanders?

01:10Sell, sell, sell.

01:11No, no team in the NFL should be tanking Shadur Sanders.

01:17I mean, he's not even the best player on his team in Colorado.

01:21He's not the best quarterback coming in out of this draft class.

01:24I'm looking at teams like the Raiders and I'm looking at young quarterbacks like Cam

01:28Ward out of Miami there.

01:30I think there's plenty more upside coming into the professional ranks.

01:33What we have seen from Cam Ward coming in to this season.

01:36He's got that big play ability.

01:38He's a creator and he looks well suited to go on first there into this season's draft.

01:44So I'd have Cam Ward, I'd say sell.

01:46No, I absolutely do not think that Shadur Sanders is a must tank and worthy for, I mean,

01:52not to say that the play hasn't been fantastic, but I'll put holes through the schedule and

01:58a lot of the opponents that the Colorado has gone up against, I'd look more towards

02:03some of the intangibles with the distractions that come with Shadur from off the field and

02:09some of the carry on that we've seen before kickoff, after kickoff.

02:13That does not scream to me that this is a kid who is ready to make that step up and

02:18lead a team in the NFL.

02:20I think there's a lot of immaturity that comes with Shadur Sanders and the play at times,

02:25I mean, it's looked very polished, but it's also made a couple of silly mistakes, a couple

02:29of silly decisions at crunch time there.

02:31So I think Cameron Ward is a far better prospect and that's who I'd be looking to tank my season

02:36for Donnie.

02:37But these are professionals.

02:38They're not throwing games.

02:40They want to win week in, week out.

02:41I don't care if their record is one in 11 or what it looks like, they're still trying

02:45to win on Sundays.

02:46But by yourself for you, Donnie, should NFL teams be tanking in order to get Shadur Sanders
