00:00They are preparing a partial report on the investigation of the war on drugs by the Quad Committee in the plenary session.

00:08This is what Kathleen Forbes of Radyo Pilipinas has reported.

00:14A partial committee report was created by the House Quad Committee and was prepared in the plenary session.

00:19According to the Quad Committee's overall chairperson Robert Ace Barbers,

00:22their progress report contains evidence and testimony from 12 hearings of the committee

00:27on the issue of extrajudicial killings, illegal drugs, and crimes related to the Pogo operation in the country.

00:33This progress report will be the basis of the next steps that the agencies will take.

00:39The reason why we will submit this to the plenary, this progress report,

00:43because there are things that should be acted on immediately.

00:47For example, the proposed legislation that we filed.

00:52Maybe if it can be included in the legislative agenda of our president.

00:56If we are lucky, the bill might be certified as urgent.

01:00He also included the recommendation of filing a case against the individuals and groups,

01:05as well as those who support the bill.

01:07We have a recommendation based on what we have, based on the testimonial evidence and documentary evidence.

01:18We saw that maybe it's high time that we report this out and let the appropriate agency conduct the further investigation.

01:27Barbers clarified that the committee's hearing will continue.

01:30Their hearings are possible next week, the last one this year.

01:34They are also thinking of formally terminating the hearing on Pogo.

01:39They also did not see that they need to call former President Rodrigo Duterte for the issue of EJK.

01:46Our 12-hour, 13-hour meetings with him, that's basically what we want to hear.

01:52A little more than what he revealed or what he admitted in the Senate.

01:59I think that's sufficient.
