‘I had my parcel stolen the other day!’: Londoners on a rise in parcel theft

With parcel theft on the rise, we speak to Londoners about their experiences.

00:00Personally, I actually haven't experienced, touch wood, don't want to jinx it, but I haven't really experienced any parcel thefts.

00:08I think it's also because the place that we live that you're able to actually drop the parcel inside of like a hidden area.

00:16So I think it's a bit specific because of our house, our shared house that we live in.

00:20But for a few people that I know where parcels get like left outside, yeah, for sure, their parcels get missing all the time.

00:27So they end up trying to buy through specific places as well.

00:31Have you experienced that?

00:32Yeah, I have about three weeks ago.

00:35And I was waiting for training shoes because the following day I was going to a sports camp.

00:42And what happened? How did you discover that it was?

00:46Because I was hovering around the door and while I was there, I got a message to say your parcel has been delivered.

00:55And I knew unequivocally that it hadn't.
