Have you noticed more bars and restaurants closing in your area recently? How have rising prices and the cost of living affected how often you go out to eat or drink?

00:08for them that might not be visible for the customers is the national insurance increase

00:12and the effect that has on employer to employee.

00:17All the time you see pubs now shutting down all the time in the local and again it stops

00:24you socialising so a lot of the pubs are closing down and some of the places now in the bars

00:28are opening at astronomical prices aren't they?

00:31Well fully enough I used to work in a bar and it was a chain and they made a decision

00:39to close certain branches in certain towns.

00:43I've noticed there's been a few little restaurants that have been either closed or they've been

00:48bought out.

00:49Nowadays it's going out for a drink and something to eat it's a special occasion all the time

00:54You can't just go when you want you've got to plan it and it is expensive.
