00:00Now we can see that there is heavy flooding in the East Coast.
00:07What are the ATMs and others that can help?
00:17As you all know, this is one of the operations carried out by the government for the past year.
00:25My name is Pak Limbatan Darat and I am the governor of Muni.
00:32For your information, this year we have appointed 192 officers and 3,552 members
00:46to prepare for the flood, along with various land mobility equipment such as trucks,
00:53three-ton, seven-ton, and also fighting boats and other rescue equipment
01:02to face the flood that we expect will hit the whole country
01:11by the end of this year and also by the beginning of next year.
01:16And as you all know, the government has put forward a principle,
01:24which is the first on-site.
01:26Before the beginning of October, we have issued an initiative directive
01:35to move all the information so that it is ready with the members and officers
01:44and make sure that the areas or hotspots that are expected to be flooded badly.
01:50And so far, we have organized 30 officers and 350 members in the ranks
01:58along with 17 one-ton trucks, 16 three-ton trucks, along with 15 boats
02:06in Kedah, Kelantan, and Tengganu that are badly affected.
02:10We have seen it in the media for the past few days.
02:14And to help other officers to rescue and move the members to a safe place.
02:22And as we all know, this rescue operation is a joint operation between various agencies
02:32and ATMs, or especially the army, is one of the agencies that is always ready
02:40to help the refugees as a refugee agency in the flood.
02:45So, are there any additional locations that will be sent?
02:53Because it is expected that this time the flood will be the worst in the country.
02:58If there is, will the ATMs add more?
03:02With a total of almost 4,000, that is our initial estimate.
03:08But from time to time, we will evaluate the situation.
03:13If the disaster that hit will be worse, then the army is always ready to add more members
03:25and equipment to help other authorities in rescuing the victims of floods across the country.
03:37So, whatever it takes, we are all time ready to help the country.
03:43If the increase of PPS is not enough, will the ATMs provide PPS to the people?
03:50Oh, the flood relief center.
03:54Okay, for the flood relief center, as we all know, it is under the jurisdiction of the government
04:00and also the responsibility of the community.
04:02As of now, I think the number of temporary refugees has been identified and I am ready.
04:10However, if it is necessary for the army to help provide, we will look for any camps
04:21near the affected areas to help.
04:26As of now, even in the large floods in 2014, there were no camps or military bases
04:36that we used as temporary refugees.
