00:43Army Training and Doctrine Command Training Management Director and 2nd Malaysian Army
00:48Infantry Brigade Commander.
00:51A Johor Bahru native, Mohamad Nizam began as a platoon leader in the 19th Royal Malay
00:56Regiment, mechanised, and later served as Ida de Kamp to the Deputy Chief of Army, then
01:02to the Chief of Defence Force and to the 14th Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
01:07The graduate of the Sandhurst Royal Military Academy, England, has also attended various
01:12career courses locally and internationally.
01:15He also completed his studies at the National Defence College and earned the National Resilience
01:20College Award.
01:22Mohamad Nizam made history as the first senior Army officer selected for the Global Peace
01:28Operations Initiative Peace Support Operations Contingent commander course in the US, before
01:34becoming commander of the Malaysian Battalion 2 peacekeeping force in Lebanon.
