The Malaysian Armed Forces has mobilised 4,428 personnel, supported by 506 land, 7,355 maritime and 19 air assets to face the Northeast Monsoon, which began on Nov 13.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said this mobilisation is part of ATM's proactive measures in carrying out Ops Murni to assist the National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA) during the monsoon season.
