00:22this year's awards reflected the growing importance of inclusive and environmentally responsible strategies
00:28in shaping Malaysia's workforce.
00:30In his keynote address, Human Resources Minister Stephen Sim Chee Keong
00:34congratulated the winners for focusing on building a virtuous Madani society,
00:38where the workplace reflects this commitment on DEI.
00:42In the Madani society, diversity is celebrated and no one is left behind,
00:49especially the poorest, the lowliest and the lost.

01:25This year's LAWA introduced new sustainability-focused categories and refined benchmarks,
01:30enabling clearer recognition across 38 awards in 14 categories.
01:34LAWA 2024 attracted record participation, with over 200 organisations and 713 award submissions
01:42spanning public-listed companies, multinational corporations, small and medium enterprises and public organisations.
01:49Talent Corp Chairman Wong Shu Chi reaffirmed the agency's commitment to collaborating with stakeholders,
01:55particularly industry leaders, to create inclusive workplaces where employees can thrive.
