00:00The West Indies resumed day two of the opening test against Bangladesh and
00:03Antigua on 250 for 5. Joshua De Silva was out like before to Hasan Mahmood for
00:08his overnight score of 14. Then Mahmood got rid of Al Zari
00:14Joseph cheaply to make it 261 for 7. But overnight batsman Justin
00:20Graves was the one to come to his team's rescue.
00:27This shot for two took him to his 50 but the work was not done as the
00:33West Indies needed something special from him.
00:37Graves was eyeing triple figures and played very responsibly during his stay
00:42at the crease. Giving him good support was Kimal Roach who was
00:48accumulating runs quite patiently. But their obdurate 140
00:56run stand ended when Roach was bowled by Mahmood for his highest test score of
00:5947. That was the bowlers third wicket. Graves was still there and got to his
01:03maiden century in style. What an occasion it was for the man who hit three tons in
01:08this year's regional super 50. Jaden Seals made 18 before giving Mehdi
01:15Hasan Miraz his second wicket. The Windies took the score to 450 for 9
01:25when the declaration came. Graves was unbeaten on 115 and Shamar Joseph was
01:31not out on 11. When Bangladesh responded Zakir Hassan was bowled by Seals for 15.
01:36He's got his man Seals after being hit for three boundaries. Then Mahmood
01:43Hassan Joy was gone for five giving Al Zari Joseph the wicket and the visitors
01:48were in trouble. The Tigers would eventually close on 40 for 2
01:53with Mominul Haq on 7 and Shahdath Hussain on 10. They trailed the Windies
01:58by 410 runs heading into day 3.
