INGREDIENTS
1 CUP OF WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR
¾ CUP OF SUGAR
¼ CUP OF GHEE
1 AND ½ CP OF MILK
¼ TEASPOON OF CARDAMOM POWDER
10 TO 15 CASHEW NUTS
A PINCH OF SALT
DIRECTONS
Heat 1 tablespoon of the ghee in a thick bottomed pan over a medium temperature
When the ghee is warm add the cashew nuts and fry until light golden and keep
Add the remaining ghee in the same pan and add the whole wheat flour into it
Reduce the temperature to medium low
Stir and fry until the flour becomes light golden and a nice aroma comes out ( Approximately 10 to 12 minutes)
Do not allow the flour to turn brown
Add the milk, sugar and a pinch of salt
Increase the temperature to medium heat
Stir and cook until the milk is fully reduced
Add the nuts and mix
Add the cardamom powder and mix
Switch off the stove and serve
Cooking Time Approximately 20 to 25 minutes
Preparation Time : 10 minutes
Can be served up to 4 people
