00:11Kota Kinabalu Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Kasim Muda confirmed that the suspects, all

00:17Form 4 and Form 5 students, were taken into custody on Thursday and later released on

00:22police bail.

00:24ACP Kasim stated that the incident stemmed from a misunderstanding related to an earlier

00:29dispute.

00:30During the brawl, a student was assaulted and sustained injuries to several parts of

00:34the body before being taken to the hospital for treatment.

00:38A photo of the victim with a head injury, allegedly sustained while trying to break

00:42up the fight, has gone viral.

00:45The case is being investigated under Section 147 of the Penal Code for Rioting.
