Police have completed recording statements from 10 university students in their investigation regarding the organisation of the 'People Hate Corruption' rally that started at a popular shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur on Jan 25.

00:00Police have completed recording statements from 10 university students as part of their
00:06investigation into the People Hate Corruption rally, which began at a popular shopping mall
00:11in Kuala Lumpur on January 25.
00:15Dang Wanggi OCPD Assistant Commissioner Sulizmi Afendi Sulaiman said all 10 students provided
00:21their statements at the Dang Wanggi District Police Headquarters by 2.30pm on Sunday, accompanied
00:27by five lawyers.
00:29The investigation is being conducted under the Peaceful Assembly Act 2012.
00:34He added that two students agreed to have their statements recorded in Sabah, while
00:38another has yet to confirm availability.
00:42On Saturday, police confirmed that 13 university students were notified to appear on Sunday
00:47to assist with their investigation into the rally.
00:50The rally saw around 200 participants, including university students, marching from a shopping
00:56mall on Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman to Dataran Merdeka.
