00:00So Eddie, I was spoken to the media ahead of Newcastle United's game with West Ham on
00:05Monday night and I think the biggest news of the day was that Kieran Tribbia and Callum
00:09Wilson both are in contention to potentially make their return to the squad. Tribbia hasn't
00:14featured for Newcastle since injuring a hamstring against Everton back in early October and
00:19of course Wilson hasn't featured since the end of last season, he was injured in pre-season.
00:23He's had multiple return dates sort of knocked back but there's a chance that he could play.
00:27It's now revealed that he's going to train today for the first time, so we'll see how
00:30he comes through that. Of course he's got a brilliant record against West Ham in his
00:33career, 12 goals in 14 games. So it'll be a big boost to see him back and hopefully
00:37they can try and keep fit. It's been really frustrating to see him not being able to make
00:42a match today's squad but if they get him back and compete with Alexander Isak that'll
00:46be a big boost for Newcastle. Emile Craft is out for 6-8 weeks, I think that was expected
00:53after his injury, so he'll be out for a couple of months. He missed the whole festive period
00:56and it'll be 2025 before we see him back in action. That was about it from the injury
01:02news. I think Newcastle go into that game against West Ham full of confidence, of course
01:07three wins before the international break, but they're against a good team Eddie Howe
01:09said as such. West Ham's form might have been up and down this year but they'll be a difficult
01:15team Eddie Howe suggests that. Obviously we all remember that game last year, Harvey Barnes
01:19as last minute winner to give Newcastle a 4-3 win after being 3-1 down. Monday night
01:25under the lights against West Ham, it sets itself up for a fantastic game. That said
01:29I think the main three bits from Eddie Howe this morning was that Calum Wilson and Kieran
01:34Shibuya could be back for that game and obviously Emile Craft won't be. I did ask how if Wilson's
01:40record against West Ham would be something that forced their hand but he was a bit coy
01:43on that and of course I said that they would do whatever's right to make sure Wilson can
01:47play not just that game but in the long term. And yeah, Monday night will be a good game,
01:52of course Dan Byrne will be missing it as well, he threw suspension but Eddie Howe will
01:55resist. He's got a lot of good players to cover for him so that'll be one that they
01:59can hopefully adapt to because Newcastle's defensive record hasn't been really good this
02:03year but they'll have to adapt without Byrne there. But yeah, that's the main news. Calum
02:06Wilson and Kieran Shibuya potentially back for Newcastle United on Monday night.
