A former employee of an entertainment company has pleaded not guilty at the Magistrate's Court in Kuala Lumpur to a charge of fraud involving the purchase of 36 concert tickets for Andy Lau and Jay Chou, amounting to RM67,608, between May and September. 00:22Lee, a father of two, is accused of deceiving a 38-year-old real estate agent

00:27into paying for a non-existent transaction involving 16 VIP tickets

00:31for the Today is the Day Andy Lau Concert Tour 2024

00:35scheduled from October 24th to 27th at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jarlil

00:41and 20 VIP tickets for Jay Chow's Carnival World Tour 2024

00:45set for October 26th at the National Stadium, Bukit Jarlil.

00:49He allegedly induced the victim to transfer the funds through three transactions

00:54into his CIMB bank account between May 25th and September 5th

00:58at a premises in Bandar Kinrara, Puchong.

01:01The charge falls under Section 420 of the Penal Code

01:04which carries a penalty of imprisonment from 1 to 10 years,

01:08whipping and a fine upon conviction.

01:11Aina Azara granted Lee bail at 10,000 ringgit

01:14and set January 7th for the case's next mention.
