00:00The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has confirmed that it summoned the former CEO

00:07of Sabah Mineral Management, Sendrian Berhad, Jonty Ngihun, to assist in an investigation

00:12related to a corruption case.

00:16Sabah MACC Director S. Karunanithi confirmed that Jonty was called in for questioning,

00:22Haryan Metro reported.

00:24Jonty was said to have gone to the MACC headquarters at 2.30pm yesterday.

00:31On Monday, SMM accused Jonty of breach of fiduciary duty, fraud and misconduct.

00:37Police and MACC reports have also been filed against Jonty, accusing him of colluding with

00:42a whistleblower behind the videos alleging corruption involving several Sabah assemblymen.

00:48Jonty denied the allegations, saying the claim that he acted as a middleman between the whistleblower

00:53and assemblymen was a total lie.
