00:00Daim's wife, Zainudin, said there was no need for the State Attorney and the Militia Chief of Police to stop the lawsuit against the former Finance Minister who passed away on 13 November.

00:14Naimah Khalid said she represented Daim and wanted to assert that it was her husband's wish for the conversation to continue in court until it was over, no matter what happened to him.

00:26She said in her statement, Daim dedicated his day in court and was convinced that in the end he would be found not guilty.

00:34In addition, Naimah said they would not allow Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to defend himself against Daim's death over the slander he repeatedly spread against his husband openly.

00:47Earlier, the second chairman of the SPRM, Azam Baki, said that the lawsuit against Daim, or actually Mr. Abdul Daim Zainudin, would be dismissed.
