00:00The digestive endoscopy today is characterized as a solution to the search for problems,
00:13in the sense that it is a minimally invasive method, extremely subtle and capable of solving
00:20many problems and in particular this course, which has focused on hemorrhagic emergencies,
00:29has as a point of reference both diagnostic and operational methods on the subject of digestive
00:39hemorrhages. Digestive hemorrhages are certainly the most important in the field of emergencies
00:46of the digestive system and also those in front of which the young endoscopist is immediately
00:54thrown down in early aid to solve such problems. Therefore, such a topic is extremely important
01:03that it has been the central focus of the SIED national course. Today, as today, it is an
01:10integral part of any branch of our discipline, of medicine in general, of surgery, of medicine,
01:19in digestive endoscopy, which has always been a method of high technological content,
01:24clearly it is becoming more and more dominant. And we are not only talking about artificial
01:29intelligence, but also about all imaging technologies, that is, endoscopic images,
01:38and in particular, always aimed at the hemorrhagic emergency discourse. Today we have
01:45available technologies, filters, false colorings, virtual colorings, which allow us to improve
01:54in terms of timing and efficiency, and therefore also of the costs of public health, the diagnosis
02:02in acute cases of hemorrhages, and consequently also to aim more quickly at a therapeutic discourse.
