00:45changes your opinion on the Jets being a playoff team at all no no yeah not at all they still

00:54blow but it was fun to watch what could have been in the second half and I mean it was

01:02nice to see that they were capable that we weren't all crazy like the group of talent

01:07that they have was capable of doing some really good things I mean that listen that was the

01:12first team over 500 right that they were able to beat and they did it mostly because that

01:17team is decimated with injuries both on the offensive line in the skill position spot

01:22but you know there's no taking away what the Jets did in spite of trying to give the

01:27game away they were able to get it done now 10 days rest Arizona is up next the schedule

01:34you had mentioned is favorable can we get five more wins out of this team down the stretch

01:40here and again talent-wise been there's absolutely no reason why we shouldn't with this schedule

01:47but the question isn't whether or not they're capable the question is are they going to

01:52again throw another game away that they should have won we've had two of those we've had

01:56Denver and New England there should be two more wins on they should be a five-win team

02:01right now that if we're all if we're being honest and we're not if they can avoid losing

02:06games that they are supposed to win then yes that is eight wins is a variable very doable

02:12number here with the schedule they have coming up and it is something they did last night

02:17Joe but to your point the New York Jets have not often found ways to win games they are

02:23supposed to often it is the opposite finding historical new low points to actively lose

02:30a football game the Jets are now three and three both straight up and against the spread

02:35as a favorite this year last night was game number 15 booked as the favorite side since

02:42the start of 2021 that was the beginning of the Robert Sala era of course it is now Jeff

02:47Ulbricht as the interim head coach they're just eight and seven straight up and six eight

02:52and one against the number but they will be favored maybe in every one of their final

02:57seven games if not at least six of those seven or in their eight I should say seven of their

03:03final eight because Joe the final eight games they get the mini by now they visit the Arizona

03:08Cardinals then they play the Indianapolis Colts then the final weekend of November they are

03:14on the by the New York Jets their last eight games only one team currently is above 500

03:22with a winning record and that's the Buffalo Bills that's it and there's only seven teams

03:27around the AFC that have a winning record at this moment three of them in the same division

03:33in the AFC West the Chiefs are perfect the Broncos are two games above 500 and the Chargers

03:38are a game above 500 we'll see right those are not exactly teams we expected to be playoff

03:44shoo-ins before the year started I don't think the New York Jets are going to make it they still

03:49as they put on display in the opening half last night can find ways to make their lives very very

03:55difficult I think there will be a few games the Jets should win down the stretch that they do not

04:01now Joe to the Houston Texans and we can continue the conversation on the other side because the

04:06Texans are the only team with a winning record in the AFC South and you can see what the odds say

04:12minus 550 for Houston to win this division they easily should but it's a six and three football

04:18team that doesn't feel overly optimistic just three five and one Joe against the number yeah

04:24no not good at all and a lot of questions still on that offensive line Ben if you can't project

04:30protect Stroud and there is a big difference between him at home and him on the road yeah
