00:09Like, what a move by Dave Roberts.

00:10That's a terrible move.

00:12I'm thinking, really?

00:14He's gonna strike, he's about to strike out the side.

00:16It's gonna be the easiest half inning

00:17of Walker Buehler's life.

00:18And I guess it's fitting that Alex Verdugo,

00:20who is brutal for much of the season for the Yankees,

00:23is the final at bat after Austin Wells

00:25is just like flailing at pitches like an idiot.

00:28And Verdugo, of course, strikes out

00:29and the Dodgers are World Series champions.

00:33And it's really awful.

00:35You know what else is awful?

00:36And I know no one wants to hear this.

00:38Like, rooting for the Yankees in this era is not even fun.

00:43I don't even enjoy it.

00:45And you might be listening and watching this,

00:46and maybe you're a Pirates fan.

00:48Like, Bill Zimmerman on our show is a White Sox fan.

00:50His team just lost a billion games in the regular season.

00:52Like, maybe you're a fan of a team that hasn't won ever.

00:55Maybe you're a Guardians fan.

00:56You've never seen your team win a championship.

00:58I totally understand that.

01:00And you look at me as a Yankee fan.

01:01I've seen five World Series championships.

01:02I saw one 15 years ago in 2009.

01:05And you look at me as a spoiled brat,

01:07and I totally get it.

01:08Like, I really do.

01:09I really understand it.

01:11But for Yankee fans that have been watching

01:13for the past 15 years,

01:15and have seen how this has consistently gone,

01:18to not just lose, but to be embarrassed

01:21on the biggest stages.

01:23Like, I don't care about the ALDS against Kansas City.

01:27I don't care about the ALCS

01:29against the Cleveland Guardians.

01:31Honestly, I wish they had lost.

01:35I wish they had lost to Kansas City.

01:37Because if they had lost to Kansas City,

01:38maybe they would have been so ashamed

01:41that Hal Steinbrenner would have been

01:42so at the trust fund baby,

01:43would have been so ashamed

01:44that he would have made some type of move.

01:46Instead, it's already been announced

01:48that Aaron Boone's coming back in 2025.

01:50And of course, Supreme Court Justice Cashman will be back,

01:53has the job until death.

01:55So here's the betting takeaway from last night.
