00:45were recognized in the Search for Outstanding Rural Women or SORW.
00:50In 2024, the DAWV gave a special citation to Beatriz Lastimoso of San Carlos Negros Occidental,
01:00Nieva D. De La Torre of Maayon, Capiz as the second runner-up,
01:05Fatima Ibanen of Ibarra, Iloilo as the first runner-up,
01:09and Maria Ninfa Ndeseri Sigovia of Malayaklan as the regional winner.
01:14The 2024 regional winner Maria Ninfa Ndeseri Sigovia of Boracay Women Producers Cooperative,
01:22which is also a member of the LGBTQIA plus community,
01:26was invited by other women who believe in the good end of agriculture.
01:32Our agriculture is continuous.
01:38The role of women in the village is very important,
01:43especially in agriculture, in providing food to our people.
01:50So let us put ourselves or let us put our efforts on farming
01:57and let us believe in agriculture and move towards agribusiness.
