00:08The Department of Justice clarified the news of the court of Timor-Leste's corruption

00:14in the extradition case of the former Negros Oriental representative, Arnulfo Tevez Jr.

00:19According to Justice Secretary Jesus Crespin Remulia,

00:22the proper court in Timor-Leste has already decided

00:25that the former congressman must be extradited based on his alleged merits.

00:30The legal team of Tevez is trying to appeal this

00:33by questioning the judge who made the decision in the case.

00:38DOJ is confident that the court will uphold

00:41the previous decision and will face the cases filed against him.

00:46Justice Secretary Remulia said

00:48they are determined to send Tevez back to the Philippines

00:51in order to give justice to his victims.

00:59while the northern Luzon region is experiencing heavy rainfall.

01:02The center of the storm in Alicia, Isabela was last seen.

01:55There is also heavy rainfall in Mimaropa,

01:57Western Visayas, and Negros Island Region.

01:59Heavy rainfall is also experienced in the southern portion of Mindanao.

02:06The government continues to provide assistance to those who lost their homes

02:10in the fire in Tondo, Manila this weekend.

02:13As per the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.,

02:17the case of the leader of the Camera

02:19will soon issue a 20-million-peso assistance from the DSWD

02:24for those who were burned.

02:26Aside from this,

02:27relief goods and various assistance

02:29from Sen. Rambong Revilla,

02:31Cavite Rep. Lanny Revilla,

02:33and local officials of Manila LGU are also receiving personal assistance.

02:36As of now, 200,000 families

02:39have lost their homes and are currently being evacuated

02:42to evacuation centers.
