You're coming with all the hard questions here, like...
00:02
We got paid to say that.
00:04
Hello, I'm called Jordan and I sing in Neon Waltz.
00:08
What's the crack? We're at...
00:09
Esmeralda Road!
00:11
What's the crack? We're at Esmeralda Road!
00:12
We're from a place called Jonagroats in Caithness, which is very north of Scotland.
00:20
We've been a band for about 10 years now.
00:24
Yeah, we just played in St Luke's here.
00:26
It was our first time playing Glasgow.
00:28
It was electric, I'd say.
00:30
It was an awesome venue.
00:32
We heard so much about Scottish crowds and we were buzzing to get stuck into one
00:38
and they didn't disappoint at all, they were amazing.
00:40
It was just so much fun.
00:42
At one point we thought we were going to be really big
00:45
and then we got dropped and now we're going to be really big again.
00:50
And what's your favourite thing about Glasgow?
00:52
Square Sausage.
00:55
We got paid to say that.
00:57
We're playing in St Luke's, which is right here.
01:01
We've played it twice before as a headline show
01:09
and they were both amazing, so I'm sure this will be amazing.
01:13
It's Lorne's sausage actually.
01:16
My favourite thing about Glasgow is it's very similar to Belfast but it's like...
01:20
More fun?
01:20
Yeah.
01:22
It's just a lot of different people in it, it's very diverse,
01:24
there's a lot of different cultures going on and it's cool to get...
01:27
Just the fact that gig felt amazing as well.
01:29
Yeah, that was good also.
01:31
My favourite thing about Glasgow is the people.
01:33
Yeah, the people are awesome.
01:34
People make Glasgow.
01:35
That's what they say.
01:36
Beautiful songs, I would say.
01:38
Loud, ballsy, beautiful.
01:41
Our music is a load of s***.
01:44
It's like indie fusion with jazz and a lot of post-punk,
01:49
a lot of dance music in there as well.
01:51
Drum and bass, garage-y stuff, house.
01:54
House.
01:55
House.
01:57
Yeah, just a big mixing part of all the s*** we grew up listening to basically.
02:01
It's like the music chose me.
02:04
You know what I mean?
02:05
I didn't really choose music.
02:08
My family is very musical as well, so it was always going to be a thing for me.
02:16
Describe the venue you just played in.
02:20
Ethereal, I'd say.
02:21
You had to do some Hail Marys.
02:22
We're going to have to go over that word after.
02:25
Yeah, I'll fill you in.
02:26
Yeah, it was nice.
02:27
Lovely big high ceilings.
02:28
It felt very comfortable.
02:30
It was a very comfortable stage.
02:31
It was great.
02:32
The sound was awesome.
02:33
It was epic.
