It seems as though Brits are increasingly opting for solo travel and solo dining, as new research by the world’s leading travel search engine, Kayak, has found that it’s the younger generations who are leading this shift.

00:15Zs and Millennials are planning to dine solo within the next 12 months, with 90% having
00:21already started desiring or planning a solo trip. It was reported that Berlin, Paris and
00:27Dublin ranked as the top three destinations for those looking to experience solo travel
00:33and dining. Other places which ranked popular included Dubai and Sydney in Australia. And
00:38it seems like the most common types of trips for solo travellers include these city breaks,
00:43outdoor vacations which involve activities like hiking, and beach resort holidays. Rachel
00:49Mumford, a travel expert at Kayak UK, said, quote, it can be a liberating experience to
00:55travel alone, providing travellers with a huge sense of accomplishment. But what do
