The attorney general's office is reviewing the sentences given to the two boys who murdered 19-year-old Shawn Seesahai in Wolverhampton last November. Concerns have been raised that the minimum term of eight years, issued last week, is too lenient.

00:30The review comes after a request was submitted under the unduly lenient sentence scheme.

00:35This scheme allows anyone to ask the Attorney General to review sentences given in Crown

00:42Sean Ceeserhigh had recently moved to the UK from Anguilla to undergo eye surgery.

00:47His family, who had used their life savings to repatriate his body and attend the trial,

00:52were unable to travel to the UK for sentencing, instead following it via video link.
