So, as ever, there is loads on in the city of Bristol this week. So Adriana, can you
00:09
tell us what is our first what is on in the city?
00:13
The musical Me and My Girl will be coming to Bristol Hippodrome for five days. The award-winning
00:19
production follows Bill Snipson, a Lambeth market stall trader, who is revealed to be
00:25
the new Earl of Hereford. His newly discovered aristocratic relations are horrified. An
00:32
attempt to educate Bill into the ways of the gentry and separate him from his Cockney girlfriend
00:37
Sally resulted in a comic chaos that will appeal to all ages.
00:43
So that is a very exciting one for a production company in the city. So shall we move on to
00:49
our second what is on? Tell me about that.
00:53
Oktoberfest season is kicking off. The German festival has celebrated Bavarian culture and
01:03
beer since 1810 and has become one of Bristol's favourite celebrations. Venues across the
01:09
city will be celebrating the festival with live bands, provided entertainment, giant
01:15
stands and plenty of bratwurst and more.
01:20
Thank you. So that is always an exciting one in Bristol over October. Shall we move on
01:26
to our final what is on in the city? Tell me about that.
01:30
The Little Kids Nature Club is back on Wednesday at Clifton Down. The weekly Child and Adult
01:38
Nature Club brings a joyful mix of discovering the natural world through seasonal activities
01:45
and getting closer to nature in the mature woodland and wildlife meadow.
01:51
Lovely. Well, that sounds like a lovely one, especially now we've got all the autumn leaves
01:55
and trees.
